Private companies
can obtain new employment entry permits for their employees, provided that they
apply for residence visa status within 30 days from the employee’s entry into
the UAE.
Procedures:
The private
company’s representative should submit the employee’s work permit issued by the
Ministry of Labour and submit it to the General Directorate of Residency and
Foreigners Affairs - Dubai (DNRD) with an employment entry permit from a typing
office attached to the required documents. The employee entry permit will be
given to the company representative immediately.
The transaction can
be done by submitting to the competent official at the Entry Permits Section of
any of the below mentioned centres:

AED 200 per
employment entry permit.
N.B.
If a
company has been fined for committing violations related to the sponsorship of
employees, the company is allowed to obtain a new employment entry permit only
after rectifying its situation.
