Knowledge and Human Development Authority

The objective of Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) is to ensure the continuous development of the education sector and to improve the quality and outcomes of education on all fronts and at all stages. 

KHDA was established pursuant to law no. 30 for 2006 issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and aims to develop all knowledge and human resource sectors in the Emirate of Dubai and bring them on par with international standards and prevalent best practices. It also aims to tailor the educational system to accommodate the requirements of the job market.
