Finding a Property in Dubai

Moving into a New Home
Tenancy Contract
Once you’ve found your new home, you’ll need to sign a rental contract with the owner or developer (known as an Ejari contract). This will be a legal document that outlines the terms and conditions of your lease.
Electricity and Water
After registering the tenancy contract, you can have electricity and water supply connected to your home. To finish this procedure, the following steps should be taken:
For Tenants outside Free Zones areas - Upon completing EJARI you will receive Email and SMS from DEWA with a Contract Account Number and Security Deposit amount to be paid.
For Tenants within Free Zones areas - Tenants Moving-in to the premises, which are in the Free Zones and exempt from Ejari can apply via Dewa Website (www.dewa.gov.ae)/DEWA App and pay Security Deposit.
After paying the security deposit, electricity and water supply will be connected within 15 working hours.
Telecommunications
Home internet and fixed phone services are rendered by two service provides in Dubai, which are Du and e& (Etisalat). Choose one of these two service providers and visit its website or download its app to apply for the service online.
