The United Arab Emirates has declared 2023/2024 as the Year of Sustainability. The initiative aimed to amplify efforts in reducing environmental impact, enhancing resource efficiency, and promoting the adoption of a sustainable lifestyle among residents and businesses alike.

COP28
Dubai hosted COP28 from November 30 to December 12, 2023, at Expo City Dubai. to unite the world towards agreement on bold, practical and ambitious solutions to the most pressing global challenge of our time. Read more about COP28
A pivotal outcome was the Global Stocktake, known as the UAE Consensus, which provided a comprehensive evaluation of climate efforts and set the stage for enhanced Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) due by 2025. Read about the UAE Consensus
