Dubai Land Department (DLD) is the government entity responsible for organizing property and real estate relations. It runs services on several levels: Real Estate transactions, Real Estate Regulatory Agency, Real Estate Investment Management, Rental Disputes Center, and Emirates Real Estate Solutions. Buying a property in Dubai, whether freehold or leasehold, is open for citizens and GCC nationals anywhere in the city, and it is allowed for foreigners in designated areas.
